　　北京北汽李尔汽车系统有限公司 是由北京汽车投资有限公司与美国李尔有限公司共同出资组建的中外合资企业，双方各持股50%。于2007年4月正式成立。合资公司地点位于北京市北京经济技术开发区。

　　合资公司的中方股东北京汽车投资有限公司（以下简称北汽投资）成立于 2002 年 6 月，注册资本 25.7 亿元，总资产 135.77 亿元，净资产 41 亿元。2002年10月，北汽投资与韩国现代自动车株式会社在北京共同出资组建了北京现代汽车有限公司，同时还在汽车零部件以及汽车服务贸易等项目上投资，是北京市资金规模最大的产业投资公司之一，具有融资、投资、重组和开拓四项职能，是北京汽车工业集团发展的重要平台。

　　合资公司的美方股东李尔公司成立于 1917 年，是全球最大的汽车系统零部件供应商之一，世界500强知名企业，被财富杂志评为最受尊敬的企业之一。李尔公司集团总部位于美国密歇根州的 Southfield 市。其主要产品在全球市场占有率状况为：座椅排名第一、电子产品及电器分配系统排名第三。李尔公司在全球 33 个国家拥有超过 300 个分支机构，其中包括六家全球性的技术研发中心。它在 34 个国家建立了 280 个组装厂，员工超过 110000 人。

　　合资公司的经营范围：设计、生产汽车座椅系统、车身电子控制系统及其他汽车电子电器产品；销售自产产品，并提供自产产品的技术服务。其产品主要为汽车整车企业配套。第一期总投资430万美元，预计年销售额2 亿人民币。

　　Beijing BAI Lear Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. was officially established in Beijing in April, 2007, which is a joint-venture between Beijing Automobile Investment Co., Ltd. and Lear Corporation, sharing 50 percent for each party. It is located in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, China.

　　Beijing Automobile Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BAI) was established in June, 2002. The registered capital for the company is RMB 2.57 billion, with total assets of RMB13.577 billion, and net assets of RMB 4.1 billion. Beijing Hyundai Motor Company Co., Ltd, one of the largest industrial investment companies in Beijing, was founded between BAI and Korea's Hyundai Motor Company in October, 2002. BAI has been investing in auto parts, auto services, etc. BAI, which has four functions of finance, investment, restructuring and development, has become an important platform for the development of Beijing Automotive Industry Group.

　　Lear Corporation, founded in 1917 in Southfield, Michigan, USA, is one of biggest Tier 1 suppliers in automotive field in the world, accredited by Fortune Magazine as one of prestigious corporations among Fortune 500. Lear Corporation ranks the first in seats and the third in electrics and electronic system. Lear corporation has over 300 branches spreading in 33 nations and regions, including 6 R&D centers. It has set up 280 plants in 34 nations and regions, over 110,000 employees are working for it.

　　The JV's main business scope is: designing and manufacturing car seat systems, electrically control system for car body and other electronic products; marketing one's own products, and providing technical services. It mainly supplies to carmakers. The first stage of total investment amounts to USD4.3 million, and RMB200 million in sales will be achieved annually as estimated.
